The Live Auction! (Save the date)

Book the sitter and get ready to bid! (And party!)

The annual Marble Hill Nursery School Auction will take place the evening of Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Lerner Hall on the Columbia University campus (map here).

The auction elves are hard at work with some new twists … and several amazing donations.

Online Auction Over… this year

The Marble Hill Nursery School ‘Spring Fling’ Online Auction was a great hit!   Thanks to all of the wonderful folks that participated in making it such a terrific success!

Closing Time

Just a reminder that Marble Hill Nursery School will be closed on Martin Luther King Day (January 19).

Also, with winter weather upon us … if the cold or snow closes New York City public schools, Marble Hill will close on those days as well.

Holiday Fair!

Saturday, December 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The annual Marble Hill Holiday Fair happens Saturday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school.  There are crafts for children and great food for all.  It’s an opportunity to enjoy great discounts on toys, books and other items — all while supporting Marble Hill School programs.

Melissa and Doug toys and products will be for sale.  They’re the famous, superbly made, high-quality toys and products … all at a discounted prices.

Work the event … your help is important.  Parents are needed to make this a successful event. Sign-up sheets are posted near the school entrance for set-up on Friday or the event on Saturday. Enjoy the fair and meet other parents!

Donations of food and drinks are needed. Suggested donations include bagels, rolls, main dishes, salads, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, brownies, and bottled water. Sign up on the Food Donation sheet near the school entrance.  Please bring food donations to the school by Friday, December 5, including any heating instructions!

As always, thank you for your support and participation.  It is only with your help that the event can be a success and benefit the school and the children.

Have a happy, healthy, enjoyable holiday season!
